About Paul Quinn

A few years ago, I was in a very different place — out of shape, low on energy, and honestly not sure where to start. Like a lot of people, I’d tried the generic gym memberships and one-size-fits-all workout plans, but nothing stuck. It wasn’t until I found a training approach built around me — my body, my pace, my life — that everything changed.

Six years of Muay Thai — a striking-based martial art from Thailand — played a big part in that. Beyond the physical conditioning, it taught me discipline and patience, and it shaped how I train people today: steady, focused work, no shortcuts. Take a look at my Instagram for more pictures and look at this part of my training.

That transformation changed how I felt, not just how I looked — stronger, more confident, more in control. And I realized I wanted to help other people feel that same shift, especially those who never thought a personal trainer was “for them.”

That led me to get certified as a personal trainer, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ve worked with clients of every age and background — from someone stepping into a gym for the first time at 50, to people who just needed a plan that finally made sense for them.

What drives me

Honestly? It’s the moments when a client realizes they’re stronger than they thought. When someone who was nervous on day one is now walking in with confidence. When “I don’t think I can” turns into “look what I just did.” That’s the whole reason I do this.

I built Paul Q Fitness because I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel comfortable, respected, and supported — not judged. Whether you’re starting from zero or getting back into it after years away, I’m here to meet you exactly where you are and help you get to where you want to be.
